Trainings

At the Light Microscopy Facility, we offer a range of training programs to help researchers optimize their microscopy experiments and data analysis. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of researchers at different levels of expertise, from beginners to advanced users. Here’s an overview of our available training programs:

1- Introduction to Microscopy: This program provides an overview of the basic principles of light microscopy, including microscope anatomy, principle of fluorescence, principle of a fluorescence microscope and short introduction about confocal and light-sheet microscopes. This training is targeted for internship students that stay a couple of week and will assist an independent user.

Advanced Microscopy Training: This program is designed for to become an independent user. This training goes deeper and covers advanced microscopy techniques such as confocal microscopy, super-resolution microscopy, and live cell imaging and good research practices.

Image Analysis and Processing: This program covers the basics of image analysis and processing, including software training on popular programs such as ImageJ, Imaris, and huygens.
