At MDIBL LMF, we believe in transparency and making our pricing structure clear and easy to understand. That's why we've created a professional and visually appealing fees chart that highlights the costs of using our microscopy facility (see at the bottom of the page).
By using our fees chart, you'll have a clear understanding of the costs associated with our microscopy services, which can help you identify areas for cost savings and make more informed decisions about how to allocate your research budget more effectively.
Our pricing structure for microscopy services was determined through a thorough process that takes into account factors such as the cost of purchasing and maintaining our state-of-the-art microscopes, the cost of consumables and repairs, depreciation allowance, as well as direct, indirect costs and the service on Instrument by the staff.
The microscope facility at MDIBL is available for use by three categories of users: internal, collaborator, and external users. Internal users are affiliated with the laboratory, such as employees and students, and have access to the facilities at the lowest rate. Collaborator users are researchers who are working on joint projects with MDIBL personnel, and they are charged a higher rate for microscope use. Finally, external users are those who are not affiliated with the laboratory, and they are charged the full rate for microscope use.
The rates for microscope use vary depending on the type of microscope, the length of use, and the type of booking. A trained user will be charged the amount listed in the first row for each microscope. A training session will be charged at the training rate. Finally, if a user is not trained or requires assistance, they will be charged the operator-assisted rate.
We offer a pilot experiments program that provides researchers with an opportunity to test out our microscopy services at a significantly reduced cost. As part of this program, researchers can receive a 75% discount on their first pilot experiment, which allows them to get a feel for our state-of-the-art equipment and experienced staff. Our pilot experiments program also includes full assistance from our staff, who are available to help researchers with everything from experimental design to data analysis. We believe that this program is an excellent way for researchers to experience our services and see first-hand the quality of our work. If you're interested in taking advantage of our pilot experiments program, please contact fbonnet@mdibl.org for more information.
We're always looking for ways to make our microscopy services more affordable for our customers. In addition to our pilot experiments program, we also offer other discounts throughout the year. For example, during the winter months, we offer a 30% discount on all microscopy services to help researchers stay within their budget during the holiday season. Additionally, we offer a special discount for researchers who utilize our services frequently. Once a researcher reaches a monthly expenditure of $420 or more, they will receive a 75% discount on all additional microscopy charges for the remainder of the month. We believe that these discounts are a great way to show our appreciation for our customers and help them get the most out of our microscopy services. If you have any questions about our discounts or would like to learn more, please don't hesitate to contact us.
